Out of all the weeks I’ve had in this internship this one has gone by the quickest. That probably has a lot to do with the fact that it has been my spring break one of the perks for having an internship through a university. So in honor of the beautiful spring weather that we have been having here in Southern Cali I decided to go out and relax along with some spring-cleaning.
My spring-cleaning was mostly me going through all my papers, projects, and miscellaneous that I have collected so far and organizing it all. Something I never really realized was how big of a difference it can make when everything is in its place. That sounds like common sense but I have always been one to have something that resembled more of clutter but I pretty much knew where everything was. Of course there was always that seemingly mandatory incident a year where I would go crazy trying to find an important paper that wasn’t on the floor next to the paperclip. So going through my papers and actually making dividers and tabs for things has really changed the way I function. I’ve been able to get things done a little quicker and I’ve even found great references that I forgot that I had. If there is anything I love is finding new ways to be more efficient and for some reason I just never put that much time in effort to get truly organized and now I am seeing the results.
Organizing everything consistently will always be a work in progress for me. So I want to know how do you stay organized? Any good tips to share?
