I’m so excited to fill you all in on a big project I’ve been working on with Rebecca Scritchfield RD, and it’s time for the big reveal.
The holidays are always characterized in those classic movies as a time filled with family, friends, good food, and good times. But let’s consider the reality. We stress over the perfect gifts, over load on events, worry about the food, under eat and miss our favorite foods and then totally over do it. Come New Years, your resolution is to drop the holiday weight and deny yourself every food you enjoy.
Enter the Me Movement; A pledge to make this holiday season different from any before it. It’s a commitment to Y-O-U and how you promise to enjoy the holidays and avoid an extreme diet or work out regiment on January 1st. Everyone’s pledge is different depending on what you want to promise, after all it is the ‘Me Movement’, but they all are aiming for the same well being.
The blog will have new entries each day on ways to put yourself first, written by myself, Rebecca, as well as guest experts (you’ll have to wait and see!) You’ll also find the pledge and Twitter Chat schedule on the website: www.TheMeMeovement.com.
