Weekend Plate: Wheat Grass

After all this wheatgrass hype from Supercharge me, I needed to do some research.

I’ve compiled some quick facts for the curious.

-Wheatgrass contains phenylalanine, valine, threonine, tryptophan, isoleucine, and lysine (the 8 essential amino acids)!

-Wheatgrass juice is rich in Chlorophyll.

-Wheatgrass contains high amounts of vitamins A, E and B.

-It has anti-inflammatory properties, stimulates the metabolism, increases energy, and is a natural detoxifier.
-Many people use it to strengthen the immune system.

-Thinking about taking wheatgrass juice? Start slowly, about an ounce per time you consume.
-You can either buy living grass or powder for mixing.

Have you tried it? Let me know!
